The final bell rang signaling class was over and spring break was free to begin. Dorothy headed back to her dorm to finish packing her things before heading to Kansas. She was anxious to leave the dorm for awhile and get away. She then noticed the letter, that wasn't there before, was it? As she examined the letter she noticed the beautiful pale blue on the envelope. Opening the envelope, she sat on her bed and began to read it.
"Dearest Dorothy,
I write to you in a matter of urgency. Oz has been cursed, everything is flipped. People are not as they seem anymore. I know it has been awhile since you last visited Oz but after Evanora betrayed Theodora and we thought that we had put an end to The Wicked Witch she cursed us. Oz took a drastic change. Theodora lives, she hides in the woods crying out for The Wizard to save her. Evanora rules over Oz, she took over when we destroyed The Wicked Witch. She has been in hiding, she refuses to reveal herself. There is too much sorrow to tell you all at once. I hope you still have the slippers, remember there's no place like Oz.
-Glinda, The Good Witch"
This wasn't the Oz that she had left so many years ago. Not at all, she needed to return. She had to return. She began furiously throwing things into her suitcase, eager to return to Kansas. As she gathered her belongings and got into the car she began the long drive home. What had happened? When she left everything was in order. Nothing was like this. Caught up in her thoughts she barely noticed when she arrived in Kansas. Aunty Em was already outside eager to see her.
"Oh Dorothy, I've missed you so. How were your finals? Dinner is almost done," Aunty Em said out of breath. Trying to make sure she remembered everything she wanted to tell Dorothy.
Dorothy sighed and hugged Aunt Em. "Actually, I'm quite tired. Do you mind if I rest for awhile?"
As Aunty Em let go of her, Dorothy grabbed her belongings and headed into her room. An instant calm fell over her. Her room was her safe haven. This was where her adventures had began. Where she met her wonderful friends. She went to the closet and she grabbed the slippers. Her Ruby Red slippers. Holding them against her chest, she began to tear up. Was she really about to go and see what had happened to her wonderful Oz?
As she slipped on her slippers, she felt nervous. What was she walking into? Should she be scared?
Only one way to find out. She began to click her heels.
Click. "There's no place like Oz."
Click."There's no place like Oz."
Click. "There's no place like Oz."
The whirlwind began, everything swirled around her. When she landed in Oz, she saw it. The darkness consumed Oz. It was dark, frightening, most of all, it wasn't her Oz. This wasn't the place where she found herself. Where she grew appreciation for her family. No, this place was much darker.
She went to the center of town, where her journey had first began so long ago. There was no munchkins singing. The town was quiet. She felt afraid. Her Oz was lost, she had to help get Oz back to it's former glory. As she went into the houses around the center she came across a house playing soft opera music. It was beautiful and made her feel like she was in a trance. She went inside only to wish she hadn't. There he was. One of the munchkins. He was holding a bottle of Jack Daniels, crying softly, singing a sad tune. She watched mesmerized. She couldn't believe what she saw. There were bottles scattered around his home and you couldn't tell when the last time was his home had been cleaned. All Dorothy could think to do was to start cleaning. She began picking up the bottles constantly reminding herself that she had to be strong. She had been sent here for a reason.
He noticed her but he paid no mind, why should he? The witch took away the magic, Oz was no longer. The flying monkeys had killed all the other munchkins. He was the last one. He often thought about ending his life. Why should he be here? No one else cared. He couldn't recall his last shower, the last time he had put clean clothes on, and he certainly couldn't remember the last time he had talked to someone.
What Dorothy didn't know is that the pistol sat in the drawer. She didn't know that the weapon had been given to him or rather he stole it. He didn't see the point in being here; he often toyed with it though he never had the courage to pull the trigger though.
Lost in his thoughts he didn't hear her calling out to him.
"Dear Munchkin, what has happened here?" she said softly.
"She killed them, her monkeys slaughtered them all. There was so much blood. So much pain. I'm the last one left," he said solemnly.
Dorothy stayed silent, not knowing what to say to him. She was lost in her thoughts. Trying to find the right words to say. What was she supposed to say to a man that had lost all hope?
Interupting her thoughts he said to her, "Please leave my home, I need to be alone. I do not wish for your company any longer."
As she left the munchkin's house, she began to feel overwhelmed. She knew she was needed here to save Oz once again but she didn't know where to start.
She headed to forest to find Theodora, she heard soft whimpers. She was in bad shape, maybe saving her was they key to breaking the curse. She joined Theodora on the ground, sitting next to her unsure of what to do.
"Theodora, can you hear me?" she softly whispered
"Oz? Is that you? Have you come to save me?" Theodora whimpered softly.
Dorothy realized that she was asleep, she was reliving what had happened to her.
Dorothy wrapped her arms around Theodora and held her. Softly playing with her hair, trying to console her. She could tell Glinda was right, Oz was lost. She still had no clue as to how she was going to save Oz.
Her eyes slowly began to close, she hadn't had the comfort of holding someone, especially someone beautiful for a long while. She felt a wave of fatigue hit her, before she knew it she was asleep.
"Who are you?"
Dorothy still drowsy, had to remember she had come back to Oz. Now faced with an angry Theodora, did she not remember her? Had she forgotten what happened? Had it really been that long?
"Do you not remember me?" Dorothy asked slowly standing.
"No! And I don't appreciate strangers grabbing me in the woods. These are my woods now! I didn't invite you here!" Theodora exclaimed.
Dorothy wrapped her arms around Theodora, softly kissing her lips. She hoped the kiss would be a reminder of their love affair so long ago.
She looked up, her eyes full of lust and wonder. Was this really her?
"Dorothy?" She asked wide eyed.
"Yes it is me, I've come back. There's no need to worry anymore," Dorothy said softly.
Theodora grabbed Dorothy and led her deeper in the woods. They came to a small house. It was nestled safely away in the back of the woods. She led Dorothy into the house, once the door was shut she cast a safety spell on the door. This way they wouldn't be interupted.
She went to Dorothy, softly kissing her letting her hands roam. Her love was home. Maybe this was the cure to forgetting Oz. To forgetting everything that had happened since Dorothy's departure. The tears slid freely, she was home.
Dorothy kissed her harder, letting her hands grasp Theodora's ass. The firmness of her mixed with her soft moans left Dorothy wanting more. She led her to the bedroom, slowly sliding off her white gown, the bare flesh was revealed. She was truly flawless. As Theodora laid on the bed, Dorothy softly massaged her breasts, the round bulbs of soft flesh felt inviting. Softly wrapping her mouth around one of her nipples, she began toying with her, while her hand moved down Theodora's body, she teased the soft tuft of hair between her legs. Slowly spreading them apart, she softly rubbed her clit. Feeling her body respond, she bit harder on her nipples, sliding two fingers deep inside her. Determined to help her forget her pain, she used her thumb to rub her clit while her fingers rammed in and out of her. Sucking on her nipples, alternating between each other, she heard Theodora moaning louder grabbing handfuls of her hair, pulling harder as her orgasm hit. She cried out her juices seeped out. Content, Theodora truly slept for the first time since Dorothy had left so long ago. Dorothy wrapped her arms around Theodora's naked flesh and heard her breathing get heavier.
The next morning Dorothy awoke to the smell of eggs and bacon, she went into the kitchen to find Theodora. As they sat down for breakfast they discussed everything that happened since she left. Theodora wanted her help in taking over Oz, the wizard had to die. She told her of the letter from Glinda, she tells me that Evanora has passed; this was Oz's fault. Oz had casted this horror over Oz.
They grabbed lunch to carry with them and decided to head straight to the source; Emerald City. Dorothy felt at home, she was in love and couldn't remember why she had left Oz so long ago. Hand in hand they began to follow the yellow brick road.
